Thank you for taking the position of most Americans that our borders should be secure. Once that was affirmed the choice on the ballot became simple. I deeply appreciate your stance on taxes, for our country and California. It's refreshing.

I am a life time republican who has become disheartened with the republican party. I feel the party has let their supporters down with the candidates the party supports. I am tired of non-conservative republicans. Yet just as I was to give up all together, a conservative steps up to the plate. I support Steve Poizner, I now have the hope and faith that Mr. Poizner will be the true conservative that Republican voters have been waiting for. Republicans took a hard loss with The presidential campaign because the nominated party candidate was not conservative. If we want the republicans out there voting again we need to get behind the true conservative candidates. Steve has been bold in stating his stand on the immigration issue. He has my vote and I will be blogging and letting my 600 connections know who I support. Steve I pray that you put as much heart and boldness into your campaigning as you have put into your bravery in standing on the illegal immigration issue. We need you don't let us down, fight the good fight!!!

I was in support of Meg Whitman, until her views on Arizona's immigration law came out. Then her new ad against Steve Poizner, with the list of what she thinks are his views made me sit up and say, if those are his views I like this man for the job. Thank you Meg for making me see that Steve is the right man for California. Thank you Steve for standing up for America by supporting Arizona's right to protect their state.

Steve Poizner is the only one who seems to be touch on the illegal immigration problem and cutting off rewarding them for being in this country illegally. He gets my vote and i no longer support Meg Whitman as she's too wishy washy.

Your support of the Arizona Immigration law just bought my vote. I will encourage my entire family and all my friends to vote for you on this one issue alone. California needs a similar law. A law that plugs the leak created by an inept federal government and at the same time insures individual rights of citizens.

I take a wait and see approach, and I've listened to the candidates for awhile now, but watching Steve on FOX news morning show today convinced me to vote for him. I like how he kindly, but with conviction stood up to the hosts of the show about his platform-- against illegal immigration, against legalizing marijuana, but most importantly for our state-- cutting taxes and budget and fixing the budget issues! I like how he can hold his ground-- I think he can stand firm in the midst of special interests in the Capital.

I was going to vote for Whitman, but now I am going to vote for Poizner based on the fact that he supports the Arizona illegal immigration efforts. With Meg not supporting Arizona's efforts, she lost my vote!

I have had the honest pleasure of knowing Steve Poizner for now almost 30 years. He remains today as he was then, a man of true conviction and honesty. There is no one have I met that I have more respect for or someone that has accomplished more. California should be so lucky to have Steve as it's next governor to help right the ship from years of fiscal decay.
