Your stance on the issues is a checklist of the things I would do if I were the governor of this great state. I am an advocate of the "Work Smarter, Not Harder" philosophy that encourages streamlined processes such as this. I just wish more people would take the time to learn about the candidates instead of being spoon-fed by who's commercial they saw most often. Steve we NEED people like you in office.

Steve Poizner is the only candidate who has a comprehensive budget plan that will put California back on track. This plan will cut taxes across the board, reform the system, and bring our economy back. Every voter should read his plan and compare it to the other candidates.

To Whom it May Concern: As you all know I am a licensed Insurance Agent here in the State of California. Since becoming licensed Steve Poizner is the third Insurance Commissioner we have seen. My agency and I have seen nothing but steady increases in fees and costs we pay to the Department of Insurance.....UNTIL STEVE POIZNER TOOK OFFICE! I am passing this on to everyone as well some news outlets, Because: This man has quietly moved forward with amazing cost saving policies and initiatives in this very large department of our State Government. All-the-while passing those saving on the public, and those of us who serve under him. TRUST ME.....STEVE "WILL" SYSTEMATICALLY DO THIS IN EACH AND EVERY STATE DEPARTMENT OF GOVERNMENT, IF ELECTED. AND, HE WON'T EVEN HAVE TO GET "APPROVAL"......HE WOULD SIMPLY CUT THE WASTE! I had the pleasure and honor of meeting Steve at a small meeting in Victorville, Ca when he was running for Commissioner.....I rather drilled Steve (as I was sitting right next to him) on the needs of his soon-to-be field force, (we the agents) and how he might iron out some of the issues at hand. Either Steve is an extremely good listener or WE ALL just got lucky......He has come through in spades!! While I do not completely agree with some of his views on certain heartfelt items....I have never met or known anyone in the political arena who has done or let-alone even tried to do what he has already accomplished in the Department of Insurance! I cannot imagine how much Steve would do to improve our budget problems here in California..... His no-nonsense, KISS (keep it stupidly simple) approach to business as usual should be mirrored in every government department in these United States!! He certainly has my vote.....!! As a lifelong resident if California and a new home owner in Arizona I applaud the new law passed last week in Arizona. Meg Whitman came out squarely against this policy today. I can say with certainty that I am squarely in the Poizner camp. Meg Whitman is out of touch with the word illegal. Bruce

I heard Meg Whitman at the Hannity event at the Reagan Library last month and was impressed. I was disappointed at the time that Mr. Poizner was not in attendance. I then viewed a YouTube vide with Whitman gushing about disgraced White House Cabinet Member Van Jones and was absolutely repulsed. Since then, the Poinzer ads have been running in our area and I find myself "awakening" to the notion that Mr. Poizner is for real and a much more conservative candidate.

I really thought that Meg Whitman was a good candidate, until she refused to announce her stand on illegal immigration and the drain on California economy. Steve has boldly stated his stand on this issue. The other fixes are important but they will not work unless we solve the problem. Steve has my vote and I will tell everyone I know how I am voting.

I'll vote for Steve Poizner, because he is not afraid to be politically incorrect in regards to illegals and because of his economic plans. I just hope that once elected he will remember his promises :)

As American born Latinos we are sick of the illegal immigration issues that have hurt us all. So many of us want the borders closed and for our "leaders" to have the guts to stand up for Americans who are being hurt in the process! We fly one flag for one country. We are American and we want what is good for America and illegal immigration has not been good for any of us.

I just want you to know that after listening to both and Meg Whitman and her flinging the first mud pie, I have decided to go with you. You seem to be honest in tackle the issues that need to be dealt with. Focusing on what is needed for California is more important that mud slinging. You seem to be a strong individually who can focus on what needs be taken of and that is what we need. A new beginning for California is what we need. Please be that man.

I was for Meg Whitman before I realized she supports illegal alien immigration. To me, that's a big NO NO and was the factor in standing behind Steve Poizner.

Meg and Obama have a lot in common and I am not pleased with Obama so I don't believe I would be happy with Meg. That is why I'm voting for Steve.

Finally a politician who isn't afraid to stick his neck out and address the problem of illegal aliens. Our state doles out millions of dollars to fund programs that illegal aliens do nothing to help bankroll. I am tired of all the entitlements and the bottomless pit of spending. We need to face the fact that there is no free lunch and that someone has to pay for all of these programs, and that is the hard working taxpayers of this state! Keep up the fight Steve. You've got my vote.

I just listened to Steve's interview w/ Brian Sussman on KSJO and I'm 110% sold on him as the best candidate to govern California. Not only am I impressed, I'm charged up motivated and encouraged by what you have done with you life and how you use your actions rather than mere words to make things happen. THAT is what leadership is! Thank you for making the personal sacrifice to run for public office!
